My Stress-less tool kit

My Stress-less tool kit

Once I'd learned to spot my triggers, I decided it would be a good idea to write down all the things that calm me down and make me happy. Then I have a quick reference guide available when I need it.

Some of them are things to do specifically when I need a helping hand, such as praying or going for a drive with the music turned up. Others are things I need to remember to keep doing, like eating well. When there’s nothing I want more than to bury my worries in a whole tub of Ben and Jerry’s, it helps to remind myself that it will only make me feel worse.

    • React to them in a positive way
    • Take a good action
    • Do what you can, when you can
